The sons of Edward and Dorothy, George was the older brother of Auxilier Hugh Kendall. He moved to Australia after the war. George was a farmer in Australia for many years, and he visited Cornwall twice during his lifetime to see his younger brothers Hugh and Bill and their families who had remained there. He sadly died on 11 August 2015 in Australia.

The colour photo Jan took of George visiting Golden Manor Farm in 2008. This was his last visit; he was 85.
