Situated in the Weydale area of Caithness, near to the A9 and Main rail line into Thurso from the south.

The OB was sited on farm land near to the Thurso-Watten road which sits below Weydale.

Similar targets to the patrol at Thurso/Glengolly which is approx 4km’s north from this patrol base.

Halkirk for combined training from Scout sections: Cameron/Seaforth Highlanders.

Usual issue, which were stored in the farm house nearby and some were found many years after the war ended and had to be inspected, collected and disposed of by an EOD team from RAF Kinloss.

 More information is required to locate members of this patrol.
